Job Title: Support Project Manager – Government SaaS Implementation
Location: Remote (Virginia-based preferred)
Type: Full-Time or Contract
Reports To: Lead Project Manager


Role Summary

The Support Project Manager ensures internal execution stays on track by managing Jira boards, leading Agile ceremonies, coordinating QA and UAT readiness, and maintaining customer documentation. This role works closely with the Lead PM to enforce delivery structure and prevent issues before they impact milestones.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews

  • Collaborate with SMEs to turn business requirements into user stories

  • Manage Jira boards, backlog grooming, and sprint commitments

  • Track documentation dependencies and maintain organized Box folders

  • Coordinate sandbox refreshes, user access provisioning, and staging environment syncs

  • Assist with QA cycles and prepare structured UAT test plans

  • Track UAT results using Monday.com and the internal Testing App

  • Identify enhancement vs. defect requests and route through change control

  • Maintain internal project trackers and assist in risk escalation


Qualifications

  • 3+ years in project coordination or support PM roles

  • Experience in SaaS delivery, Salesforce preferred

  • Hands-on experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Monday.com

  • Familiarity with government project dynamics and stakeholder coordination

  • Excellent task coordination, documentation, and follow-through skills

  • Scrum Master certification a plus

  • Willingness to travel onsite as needed throughout the project lifecycle, including milestone reviews, UAT coordination, go-live support, and stakeholder alignment meetings. Travel requirements may exceed 1–2 days per month during critical project phases

  • Comfortable enforcing SOW scope and managing milestone support deliverables

  • Ability to distinguish between support issues, enhancements, and defects
