As we expand our reach and continue to deliver value post-implementation, we are seeking a driven and results-oriented Client Success & Sales Executive to manage all company sales, upsell services, and foster strong relationships with key partners, including Salesforce, Carahsoft, and third-party app partners.
Job Description:
The Client Success & Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in growing our business by working closely with existing government customers to offer additional services and enhancements post-implementation. This position will also be responsible for managing relationships with key partners such as Salesforce, Carahsoft, third-party app partners, strategic partners, and ISVs. You will handle all aspects of sales, from lead generation to contract execution, and manage partner relationships to drive business growth. Additionally, the role includes searching for new business opportunities through procurement portals like GovWin and other systems. This is a mostly commission-based position with a competitive base compensation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies to identify and upsell post-implementation services.
- Manage key partner relationships with Salesforce, Carahsoft, third-party app partners, strategic partners, and ISVs to foster collaboration and drive new opportunities.
- Prepare and execute detailed statements of work (SOWs) for additional services, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all company sales, including managing leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Search for new business opportunities through platforms such as GovWin and other procurement systems.
- Actively identify opportunities for new business, including leveraging existing contracts to introduce add-on services.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and commissions through effective client management and sales strategies.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the software or SaaS industry.
- Experience working with government agencies or in a B2G (Business-to-Government) environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with managing relationships with Salesforce, Carahsoft, third-party app partners, and ISVs.
- Strong ability to develop and close new sales opportunities, including upselling services to existing customers.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to draft, review, and execute statements of work (SOWs) for service delivery.
- Familiarity with procurement portals like GovWin and other systems for searching and identifying new opportunities.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
Compensation:
- Base Compensation: Competitive base salary (minority portion of overall compensation).
- Commission-Based Compensation: A significant portion of the role's compensation will be commission-based, with high earning potential based on sales performance.
